Job, house, and other fun stuff

Wow, have we been busy!! This week my temporary PT job ends with the end of the school year. It has been great, but I’m always ready for summer vacation! It’s very strange not to know what will happen next. I’ve always had a job and after tomorrow, I’m entering a complete unknown. I’m really trying to think through and pray about what comes next. I want to take the right steps toward where God now wants me to be. As I’ve finished at different schools, many have asked “What’s next?” and my response takes them back a little…they can’t understand how although I have no idea, I’m not worried. Guess it’s one more witness to God being in control!! But if you know any churches hiring…

As the school year ends, the realization hits that my guys are one step closer to being “all grown up”. With my oldest already on his own, it’s hard to believe I now have a senior and my “baby” is a freshman in high school! I’m glad I’m not getting any older! My body might speak differently…after landscaping, kayaking, and playing soccer this weekend I think my knees are telling my mind it’s crazy!! Oh well…it was fun!!

Speaking of landscaping, here are a few updated pics of the house. We finished the front and one side…only 2 more sides of the house to go (of course, they need the most work!!):

I can’t wait for all the flowers to grow!! There’s lots more work to be done, both inside and out…but it’s coming together!! Now, it’s time to get back to work…
